Internationalization

At Santurtzi VET we have an international vocation.

We promote exciting experiences ranging from international mobilities to European projects. For students and teachers. Activities that will enrich your educational experience.

INTERNATIONAL NETWORKS

We know how important it is to promote academic excellence and that is why the partnerships we have developed with different international networks help us to collaborate by sharing knowledge, good practices and innovative resources. We seek for you a globalised education, open to innovation and oriented towards the future.

European reference platform for knowledge generation, exchange, collaboration and service provision for technical and vocational education centres (VET/HigherVET). Also for companies within the Advanced Manufacturing sector. Collaboration is sought between centres and companies operating in this sector in order to reduce skills gaps in the industry.

LCAMP’s strategic objectives include creating personalised learning pathways for learners and the recognition of micro-credentials. This involves establishing a Future Trends Observatory focused on Advanced Manufacturing, creating an Open Innovation Community, operating a Collaborative Learning Factory, promoting synergies with other EU initiatives and ensuring that the LCAMP platform becomes self-sustainable.

This international organization serves principals and educators with an emphasis on vocational education and training at technical and secondary school levels. This professional network aims to address the existing gaps in international networks by focusing on the needs of technical schools.

This scenario arises in response to the growing demand of the European labour market and the need to prepare students to face emerging technological challenges. INNOTECS is presented as a collaborative space to share ideas, address future challenges and contribute to the advancement of technical education.

MOBILITIES

At Santurtzi VET we are committed to promoting international experiences for both our students and our teaching staff. Every year, students from different training cycles have the opportunity to carry out their training in workplaces in different European countries with the Erasmus+ grants. This experience allows them to acquire new skills, get to know other cultures and enrich their personal and professional development.

Since 2019, our teaching staff have been actively participating in European mobilities (Slovenia, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, France and Iceland) with the aim of improving their training, keeping up to date with the latest educational trends and establishing international collaboration networks. These experiences give them the opportunity to exchange knowledge and good practices with other countries, thus enriching the quality of the teaching we offer at  Santurtzi VET.

INNOVATION PROJECTS

At  Santurtzi VET we recognise the fundamental importance of collaborating in transnational innovation programmes, which allow us to share knowledge, best practices and develop creative solutions to current challenges in education.

These collaborations not only enrich our own institution, but also contribute to the advancement of education internationally, fostering a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.

KA2 PROJECTS

The KA2 Action of the Erasmus+ Programme aims to produce results and generate a positive impact on both the participating organizations and the people directly or indirectly involved in the activities.

These projects aim to promote innovative approaches to serving target groups, to adopt competence recognition and validation processes, to improve the effectiveness of activities for the benefit of local communities and to respond to the needs of groups with fewer opportunities.

These projects are also expected to foster a more modern, dynamic and professional environment within organizations, preparing staff to integrate new practices and methods into daily activities, and opening the door to synergies with other organizations.

INTERREG PROJECTS

The Interreg Europe programme is an interregional cooperation programme, co-financed by the European Union.

The European Union strives to reduce disparities in levels of development, growth and quality of life within and between the regions of Europe.

The programme contributes to this objective and runs from 2021 to 2027.

It creates an environment and opportunities for sharing solutions to regional development problems. It supports the exchange of good practices and policy learning between European regions in 36 countries, including the 27 EU countries, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Ukraine.

VISITS

At  Santurtzi VET we want you to get to know us and that is why we organise visits, both for companies and for educational centres. We will show you our facilities, our teaching staff, the projects we carry out and everything you can think of and need to know.

It is a unique opportunity to visit the green hydrogen production infrastructure, TELKI Green Hydrogen lab, the first of its kind in a Vocational Training centre in Spain, where you will learn about the production, conservation and applications of green hydrogen. If you want to visit the space, sign up here. Our visits are also a unique opportunity to develop collaborative projects related to this technology.
